Once again we have been asked to perform at the Autism PACT Ball at the Manor of Groves Hotel in High Wych!

Our older members will be performing the opening number, themed 'Winter Wonderland'. From what we've seen of rehearsals so far, it looks to be an amazing performance! And what an experience for the older members!

This is the second time Youth CREATE has been asked to perform at the PACT Ball. as well as their first time helping to greet guests as they arrived in 2016, for the Circus themed Ball.

We look forward to hearing how everything goes on the 23rd November 2019!

As we know from her role as Event Manager, she knows how to host a great experience, just look at all our Interactive Events and our famous New Years Eve Family Night!

Have a look at our Facebook page for upcoming details for New Years Eve.

Hope you enjoyed your time in the sun, Kelly!

Parents of Youth CREATE members, Anastasia Farley and Andrea Stamadiades have teamed up to write and illustrate a lovely children’s book.

The story follows Little Bear wanting to visit the outside world, but just getting outside the house proves to be an adventure in itself!

Farley [a train driver] was waiting to drive a train, when suddenly the idea popped into her head and she couldn’t wait to get home to put it to paper.

Stamadiades says “She knew I’d done some illustration before and asked if [her daughter] Chanelle and I could come up with a design for Little Bear. Chanelle used one of her old teddies as inspiration and Little Bear was visually born! I used that design as the guide when drawing up the separate location illustrations and colouring them.”

There are already talks of another book ready to be illustrated this Summer! What a talented bunch of people we have surrounding our charity!

Aimed for ages 2-6 years, “Little Bear and his Big Adventure” is now available to buy off Amazon!

Youth CREATE tutors, Connor Linden & Kelly Middleton-Evans are filling this half term with lots of bubbly fun as they prepare for their final rehearsals of their 3-man show 'Professor Pop's Bubble School'.

The show is an all singing, all dancing journey that will take little trainee bubble scientists through a world of bubble wonder which audiences young and old will love!

We believe that you can never stop learning-even if you're a tutor! Which is why we encourage everyone to stay active in the industry to gain invaluable performing experience to pass on to all of our members!

The Professor (Connor) and his students (Kelly) take to the stage for a bubbletastic bonanza of maths, science and most importantly, bubbly fun! Expect the unexpected as the Pop entertains and engages with an unriavalled array of bubble art, smoke fun and even Professor Pop's Bubbly Hair Salon(?)!

Congratulations to Athena Stam, who will be playing the title role of ‘Jack’ in Loughton’s half term pantomime production ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’!

Athena has been a long term member, volunteer and most recently, support worker for Youth CREATE and after purely being trained by us, we are so pleased to see her off doing more professional work!

“The tutors at Youth CREATE actively look for performing jobs and experiences to add to your repertoire. Thanks to them, I’ve been lucky enough to have acting jobs AND be founded/recommended by other local performers and directors. If you have some time during half term, it would be great to see some familiar faces come to watch Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s been a barrel of laughs working with a new team and using props I’ve never used before- like puppets! This show will be just as enjoyable for the adults as the children-trust me!”

A MINI pantomime about a GIGANTIC adventure!

Jack and the Beanstalk

28th May- 2nd June, 11am & 2pm daily at Lopping Hall, Loughton.

Adult £12

Child/Con £10

We are very excited about a project that the Funshop will be involved in during the Summer Term.

‘Al’s Adventures in Wasteland’ highlights the problems our World is currently experiencing with pollution, waste and lack of conservation.

The Children's Musical features scenes about wastefulness of resources, air pollution, sea pollution, deforestation, the melting of the Ice Caps and our over-dependency on oil- all within an hour!

Aimed at 6-12 year olds, ‘Al’s Adventures in Wasteland’ was first performed in Italy in 2016.

We have been asked to be a part of the local team to present it here, for its UK premiere during the Summer Term of 2018 at Rhodes Arts Complex!

During the term, our Funshop students will learn the songs, make percussion instruments from recycled materials, create props and decorate T shirts, before joining together to perform with the professional cast, at Rhodes Arts Complex to a paying public.

Al's Adventures in Wasteland will be at the Rhodes Arts Complex, Bishops Stortford on 5th & 6th July at 6pm.
